Rolling for The V Foundation at BURN by Rocky Patel, Indianapolis

In March 2024 BURN by Rocky Patel in Indianapolis held an evening to support The V Foundation for Cancer Research, and he was the roller. He thanked the staff for “working around the clock to make sure guests are treated like royalty.”

The lounge filled up. Seen from the stairs, a line ran back from his table between the stanchions, guests waiting with their phones out to film him, and the staff in black aprons worked the room. At the table: leaf piled on a towel, the board and the press, the boxes open. A leaf goes on the board, the blade trims it, the press shapes it, and the finished cigar goes from his hands to the guest’s — the part of the night the phones in that line were waiting for.

BURN by Rocky Patel is a room he knows: he had been there the month before, in February 2024, as the second stop of a weekend in Indianapolis, and he came back in July 2025.
