A wedding with its own whiskey and cigar bar, and a roller at the table

A wedding in October 2024, and a bar that had its own sign. A printed arch read “Whiskey & Cigar Bar — Enjoy!”, a round black one said “cigar bar” in script, and between them ran a long wooden table on a brick floor, the boxes open at either end and his framed card propped beside the board.

He sat behind the table in a dark jacket and a houndstooth fedora, a small lamp bent over the round board. In his clip from that night the whole craft is there: the leaf laid flat, the chaveta trimming it, his palms rolling the bunch into shape, the finished cigar set down for the next guest. He posted the next day that it had been another great wedding.

A cigar bar on its own is a table of boxes. With him behind it, it is the place guests gather: he arrives before they do, works from a table you provide, and rolls without stopping for as long as you have booked him.
