The view

A terrace above the water

In April 2025 his table went up on Staten Island, under a covered terrace with white columns and a brick floor, the bay spread out below and the bridge on the far side. He worked in a pink jacket with the boxes open around him: Opus X, an Arturo Fuente humidor, the board and the press.

Guests took the tables a few feet away and watched him roll. When the sky turned deep blue he stepped to the edge with a finished cigar, the water and the lights of the bridge behind it.

The room

Inside, a full lounge

Inside, the room was glass on three sides, with leather armchairs and low tables. By nightfall it was full of people standing with a drink in one hand and one of his cigars in the other, while the bay went dark beyond the windows.

How he works

Set up before anyone arrives

He arrives before your guests do and has the first cigars finished and resting by the time the room fills. Then he rolls for the hours you booked, and everyone leaves holding a cigar that was made in front of them.
