The night

Green walls and an oil painting

On Friday, October 9, 2026, BorgWarner brought its guests to The Greenbrier, in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, for its Steak, Bourbon & Cigar Night.

His table stood in a room papered in green and white flowers, under an oil painting in a gold frame, with a red velvet chair behind it. He worked in a pink jacket, the humidors open in front of him and an Opus X box among them.

The table

The guests came to him

By half past eight the guests were standing around the station in blazers, glasses and cigars in hand, while he sat at the board and talked with them. Under the white tent, lit in blue and violet, the party filled every corner.
