The night

A cigar bar inside the ballroom

A wedding in New York, in September 2025. The ballroom was washed in purple and blue light, the round tables set with candles and white flowers, and in one corner stood a table dressed in black with CIGAR BAR spelled out across it in lit letters.

His boxes sat open around the board, the finished cigars lined up in a wooden tray, small candles between them and his framed card at the edge. He worked seated, in a cream jacket, rolling for whoever came over.

The couple

The table they came back to

Before the night was over the couple found their way to the corner themselves: sitting down behind the station among the boxes and the candles, then standing beside him for a photo, each with a cigar in hand. It is the part of an evening people describe afterwards, to everyone who missed it.

Your wedding

Already rolling when your guests arrive

He sets up before the room fills, so guests find the station already standing, the first cigars finished and resting. Cocktail hour, the lull after dinner, the stretch once the speeches are over: name the window and he will be rolling inside it.

To share my passion for the timeless tradition of cigar rolling on such a meaningful day was truly special. Thank you to the newlyweds, their families, and all the wonderful guests for the warmth and love shared this evening.
