A barn wedding in Boston, with a cigar bar out on the deck

A barn reception with the lights strung overhead, and the boxes laid out for the guests as they came through.

The night

A timber barn, and the deck outside it

A wedding in Boston, Massachusetts, in October 2025. Inside, the reception filled a timber barn strung with lights, its round tables gathered under a chandelier. Outside, on the deck with its white railing and the autumn trees behind, his cigar bar was set up: the boxes open on a white cloth, two brass lamps, flowers, and a small sign that read “All you need is love and cigars.”

The table

Lit in front of them

He worked in a pink jacket, rolling and then lighting each cigar for the guest in front of him: leaning in over the flame, a handshake across the boxes. The deck stayed busy after dark, the lamps lighting the table and the guests crowding in behind it for one more photo.

Your wedding

Something every guest carries home

“Sharing my passion and craftsmanship with amazing people like you is what makes my work so special,” he wrote that day. At a wedding the station does something a bar cannot: everyone who stops at it leaves holding a cigar that was made in front of them.

Thank you from the heart for allowing me to be part of such a joyful and unforgettable celebration.
